Behavioral Health Integration
CareIntegra is the registered trademark and business name for the University Alliance for Behavioral Health, incorporated in the State of Nevada in 2000 as a privately held company. The founding stockholders were a small group of visionaries scattered across the United States. Its mission was to enable existing health systems to achieve optimal integration of behavioral health into primary care with behavioral care providers (BCPs) working side-by-side with primary care physicians (PCPs). The company was designed to enter into partnerships, consultative relationships, joint ventures or other forms of alliance to achieve the ideal integration of behavioral health and primary care.
From 2000 to 2010 CareIntegra worked with the military (U.S. Air Force, Army and Navy), TriCare, and a number of healthcare corporations in the private sector. It established itself as the unequivocal leader in the area of behavioral health integration.
